Greetings! I’m Whitney, and this is my record of exploration. I chose Will-o-Wisp travels because it fairly closely approximates how I make my way through a new adventure – following things that look interesting, sometimes off the path.

I love to hike and be outside, but lately had been finding myself stuck at a desk more than I wanted. On my way home from a show, I stopped at Zion National Park. I had already been taking myself to National Parks as treats for completing projects, but Zion felt different. I was halfway up the grotto trails when I realized that I needed to be out exploring and hiking more! By the time I got back to my car, I had made myself a promise: I’m going to hike all that. That meaning the National Parks. All of them. Even the ones without ranger stations or in American Samoa.

Problem was, I’m not an experienced hiker. So I’m starting small – exploring where I can, taking photos, enjoying the wandering trip. I have a lot of road to cover ahead of me, and a whole lot more trail badges to acquire.
